Monforte d'Alba and the Langhe

Lands where the production of wine has an ancient tradition

the Langhe were oncemuch disputed, divided into petty fiefs fighting each other, factions who bequeathed a large number of medieval castles, towers and small forts that dot towns and cities.

The hills south of Alba draw a capricious path climbs, descents and hills which surround the most valuable vineyards in Piedmont, are the realm of Barolo, the king of wines andwine of kings, but there are other important wines such as Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barberaand Barbaresco.

In just a few kilometers meet all the most famous villages in the area,from the same Barolo in La Morra, Monforte to Serralunga d'Alba, Barbaresco until reaching, in a succession of ancient castles and towers immersed in the endlessexpanses of vineyards and culture.
